Los Angeles, California, September 18, 2011.

The Long Haul Bombers, powered by Home Run Monkey.com crowned a new champion today. Greg Connell from Team Worth took top honors at the final contest of the season, held at LA’s legendary Dodger Stadium.
Connell got the crowd’s attention, with big home run blasts, some went completely out of the stadium and into the parking lot. Connell ended the day on top, with 10 points.
“ It's a Great stadium, we had perfect weather and the crowd was into to it.  It's an honor to be on this tour and I happy to bring the championship to Worth . “

 
Martin Cloutier of Home Run Monkey.com made the presentation and was in awe of the worlds greatest collection of softball home run hitters.
“Congrats to Greg and Team Worth, what a show at Dodger Stadium, watching Greg send homers into the parking was powerful fun.  “
 
6 Bombers qualified for the right to hit for championship in LA: 2 time champ Denny Crine from Miken, wily vet Brett Helmer from Team Easton and his Easton teammate
Brian Wegman, along with JD Genter and Tim Cocco from Team TPS. These 6 athletes have the skills to do what only a select few are capable of and that's hit a softball 500 feet and beyond. They staged  a one of kind home run derby before the Dodgers & Pirates game at Dodger Stadium, the 3rd oldest in the bigs, only Fenway Park and Wrigley Field have more history. 
 
Before the game, Team TPS was honored with an award for winning the manufactures cup. Steve Bush from TPS and Louisville Slugger presented the award to JD Genter and Tim Cocco.
“ These two sluggers represent TPS in a fantastic way, we’re all proud of what they’ve been able to do all season long with TPS bats in hand . “
 
All 6 Long Haul Bombers made the fans proud and all 6 showed why they qualified for the championship. Tim Cocco finished a close second with 9 points and the remaining Bombers tied at 7 points. All six Long Haul Bomber one sent softball souvenirs deep into the yard and some out of the stadium and into the parking lot.

Next season the Stadium Power Tour will be both challenging and exciting.  There's a new ballpark for the bombers to test in Miami Florida. There are  return trips to LA and St. Louis and perhaps a new stop in Texas at Rangers Stadium. 

 

The Long Haul Bombers, powered by Home Run Monkey.com are a collection of the world’s greatest softball home run hitters.
