The holiday time of the year brings many things for every American. Every race, creed and religion in this great land is free to celebrate their beliefs in their own way, with their family, loved ones and friends, joyously and openly.

We, however, believe that our United States Armed Forces not only represent, but ARE the heart and soul of America. Without the brave men and women who stand guard across the world, our precious freedoms would be shattered and our history lost. During our 2004 Softball Magazine Board of Directors meeting which just wrapped up, two members directed us to Any Soldier, Inc., an outstanding service and site, and we would like to share with you how you can contact them, as they provide an easy way that you can show your appreciation to these men and women all year long and especially during this holiday season.

At this incredible website, AnySoldier.com, you can send in a donation to Any Soldier, Inc., to help them administer the not-for-profit corporation, or, send a package or a necessity to a solider. The site, developed by Army Sergeant Brian Horn's father, a twenty-year Army veteran, makes it so simple for you to deliver a package, letter or whatever may be needed directly into a soldier's hands. The site itself is a wonderful tapestry of the history of Any Soldier, Inc., and when you go out there to find out how to help out a soldier or to support Any Soldier, Inc., make sure to take the time to review the entire site. There are also bumper stickers, pins, and hats available and there is also ad space available on this site for sale.
