Manny was born in Naples, Florida, but raised in Miami, Florida. He began directing a six-team men’s league as a hobby and a way to cope with a family tragedy after his only brother, PFC Marius L. Ferrero, who was KIA in Iraq in November of 2007 in Operation Iraqi Freedom. After his brother’s passing, Manny founded a non-profit organization in honor of his brother, “Mario’s Soldiers.” In January of 2012, he started ISPS in Florida. As of early 2014, ISPS is hosting leagues and/or tournaments in Florida, Alabama, Virginia, Iowa, California, Missouri, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Argentina and other areas!
